In April 2016, the State Intellectual Property Office of the P.R. China (SIPO) made some changes to its Chinese website. With these changes, the access points to all free databases have been reorganised. Furthermore, the previous Chinese interface for searching the annual fee payments has been removed. Fee payments can be checked in English, going back to as early as 1985, by using the "China and Global Patent Examination Information Inquiry" platform.
