The chairman of our firm, Mr. Yiping Xu began to engage in IP from 1979. He has been studied and worked in the USPTO and US law firms. He established Shanghai Patent Law Firm in 1984, and served as director, chairman of the board until 2010. In early 2011, Mr. Xu returned from his retirement and founded a new law firm, Xu and Partners, LLC, together with other experienced intellectual property attorneys, lawyers and administrators to serve clients in China and worldwide.
Partners and professional staff at our firm are a group of extremely talented, experienced, and highly educated professionals with a variety of technical background, law degrees and qualifications including Patent and Trademark Attorneys and Attorneys at Law. They have extensive experiences in intellectual property laws and practice for more than ten to twenty years, which enable them to handle patent, trademark and other IP prosecutions and litigations in nearly all technical fields, particularly in biotechnology, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, electronics, physics, telecommunications, computers and mechanicals. Our firm offers highly qualified services and advices regarding e.g. patents, trademarks, designs, copyright, domain names and dispute resolution. We perform investigations, prepare applications, and monitor Intellectual Property rights. Our firm has about 45 employees, including Patent Attorneys, Trademark attorneys, attorneys-at-law and IP administrators. Our offices are located in Shanghai and Beijing.
